THANK YOU LORD

Lord, thank you for this sink of dirty dishes; we have plenty of food to eat.

Thank you for this pile of dirty, stinky laundry; we have plenty of nice clothes to wear.

And I would like to thank you, Lord, for those unmade beds; they were so warm and comfortable last night.  I know that many have no bed.

My thanks to you, Lord, for this bathroom, complete with all the splattered mirrors, soggy, grimy towels and  dirty lavatory; they are so convenient.

Thank you for this finger-smudged refrigerator that needs defrosting so badly;  It has served us faithfully for many years.  It is full of cold drinks and enough leftovers for two or three meals.

Thank you, Lord, for this oven that absolutely must be cleaned today. It has baked so many things over the years.

The whole family is grateful for that tall grass that needs mowing, the lawn that needs raking; we all enjoy the yard.

Thank you, Lord, even for that slamming screen door.  My kids are healthy and able to run and play.

Lord, the presence of all these chores awaiting me says You have richly blessed my family.  I shall do them cheerfully and I shall do them gratefully.

BEYOND DEATH

A sick man turned to his doctor, as he was leaving the room after paying a visit, and said, "Doctor, I am afraid to die.  Tell me what lies on the other side."

Very quietly the doctor said, "I don't know."

"You don't know?  You, a Christian man, do not know what is on the other side?"

The doctor was holding the handle of the door, on the other side of which came a sound of scratching and whining, and as he opened the door a dog sprang into the room and leaped on him with an eager show of gladness.

Turning to the patient, the doctor said, "Did you notice that dog?  He had never been in this room before.  He did not know what was inside. He knew nothing except that his master was here, and when the door opened he sprang in without fear.

I know little of what is on the other side of death, but I do know one thing:  I know my Master is there, and that is enough.  And when the door opens, I shall pass through with no fear, but with gladness.

THANK YOU, LORD

THANK YOU, LORD
A newly arrived soul in Heaven was met by St. Peter. The saint toured the soul around Heaven. Both of them walked side by side inside a large workroom filled with angels.
St. Peter stopped in front of the first section and said, "This is the Receiving Section. Here, all the petitions to God said in prayer are received". The soul looked at the section, and it was terribly busy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets from all the people of the world.
They walked again until they reached the 2nd section, and St. Peter told the soul, "This is the Packaging and Delivery Section. Here, the graces and blessings the people asked for are packed and delivered to the persons who asked for them down on earth."
The soul saw how busy it was. There were so many angels working in that room, since so many blessing were being packed and delivered to Earth.
Finally at the farthest corner of the room, the soul stopped at the last section. To the surprise of the soul, only one angel stayed there idly, doing nothing. "This is the Acknowledging
Section," St. Peter told the soul. "How is it that, there is no work here?" "That's the sad thing," St. Peter answered. "After the people received the blessings they asked for, very few send their acknowledgments". "How does one acknowledge God's blessing?" "Simple," St. Peter answered. "Just say, "'Thank you, Lord'."
Thank you Lord, for giving me the chance to share this message with others and also, for giving me so many wonderful people to share this with. If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep .. you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace .. you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.
If you woke up this morning with more health than illness . . you are more blessed than the million who will not survive this week.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation you are ahead of 500 million people in the world.
If you can attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death ..you are more blessed than three billion people in the world.
If your parents are still alive and still married .. you are very rare,.
If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful .. you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not.
If you can hold someone's hand, hug them or even touch them on the shoulder .. you are blessed because you can offer healing touch.
If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that.. someone was thinking of you, and furthermore, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read at all.
Have a good day, count your blessings, and pass this along to remind everyone else how blessed we all
 are.
THANK YOU LORD!

DON'T LOOK BACK

DON'T LOOK BACK

As you travel through life there are always those times
When decisions just have to be made,
When the choices are hard, and solutions seem scarce,
And the rain seems to soak your parade.

There are some situations where all you can do
Is simply let go and move on,
Gather your courage and choose a direction
That carries you toward a new dawn.

So pack up your troubles and take a step forward -
The process of change can be tough,
But think about all the excitement ahead
If you can be stalwart enough!

There might be adventures you never imagined
Just waiting around the next bend,
And wishes and dreams just about to come true
In ways you can't yet comprehend!

Perhaps you'll find friendships that spring from new things
As you challenge your status quo,
And learn there are so many options in life,
And so many ways you can grow!

Perhaps you'll go places you never expected
And see things that you've never seen,
Or travel to fabulous, faraway worlds
And wonderful spots in between!

Perhaps you'll find warmth and affection and caring
And somebody special who's there
To help you stay centered and listen with interest
To stories and feelings you share.

Perhaps you'll find comfort in knowing your friends
Are supportive of all that you do,
And believe that whatever decisions you make,
They'll be the right choices for you.

So keep putting one foot in front of the other,
And taking your life day by day...
There's a brighter tomorrow that's just down the road -
Don't look back! You're not going that way!

THE STORY OF PEARLS and 4 WORDS YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER

4 WORDS YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER

    THE STORY OF PEARLS

Pearls are a product of pain. When a grain of sand pierces the shell of an
oyster, all the otherwise dormant resources within the tiny oyster respond
to the foreign irritant by caring for that sensitive spot. Over time, the
sand particle is covered by healing fluids, and the wound becomes a pearl.

That's true for you, too. When hardships invade your life, allow God's
Spirit to shape your response. Don't be bitter. Don't rush ahead of His
plan. Rest in Him. Allow Him time to turn that irritation into an
opportunity for your growth - and watch a beautiful pearl emerge from your
    set of circumstances.

"My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing
this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have
her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing." -
    James 1:2-4 (KJV)

"When you flee temptation, be sure you don't leave a forwarding address."

The one who got peace of mind had everything.. Wealth, Health, and Fame..

Hi...
There were 4 friends who went on praying to God for blessings...
God appeared and asked them that each of them can get just one wish granted..  either MONEY, FAME, HEALTH or PEACE OF MIND.

Three of them scrambled for Money, but one succeded.. then two of them fought for Fame and health.. Each got one which God granted. The forth person who was very pious took peace of mind, for which there was no takers...

After a few months all of them met again... One who had lots of money was getting sick.. One who became a famous philosopher did not have enough money.. The other one was healthy, but no peace of mind...

All Three of them went to God, as thay believed Go The one who got peace of mind had everything.. Wealth, Health, and Fame..d was very unfair... God explained... "to keep this person peaceful, I had to make sure that he is healthy, wealthy and famous, without which he will lose his peace of mind... so I am helpless..."

Morale of the story is, Just ask God for happiness & Peace of mind, he is bound to give everything that makes you Happy and Peaceful.....

US-based evangelist William Lee brought to court here on Saturday after case was registered for violation of visa norms.

U.S. evangelist held for violating visa norms

US-based evangelist William Lee brought to court here on Saturday after case was registered for violation of visa norms.

He addressed Christian convention despite police request
William Lee, the U.S.-based evangelist, who went into hiding after police spotted him violating visa norms by addressing a gospel convention in the city on Wednesday, was arrested and produced before the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-I here on Saturday. He was remanded in judicial custody till October 18.

Mr. Lee arrived on a multiple-entry tourist visa, which was valid till March 20, 2012.
Following information that he would be addressing the convention named Musical Splash 2011,' organised by the Thiruvalla-based Faith Leaders Church of God at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium in Kaloor here, police officials landed at the venue and asked him not to do so.
Even though the organisers accepted the request, Mr. Lee addressed the gathering soon after senior police officials left the scene. When the police team reassembled, Mr. Lee left by the back entrance of the stage and managed to give the police the slip.

The police team rushed to the hotel where he was staying, but he had left by then. Subsequently, police registered a case at Palarivattom police station, under which the stadium came, against Mr. Lee and also against Roy Daniel, Daniel Mathew and James George, organisers of the show, on charges of abetment.
Three teams of the City Police were assigned to track the evangelist and organisers, who went missing immediately after the incident. The police finally traced Mr. Lee to a prominent city hotel by Saturday morning. He was arrested by 8.30 a.m. The three others, against whom cases have been registered, were still to be traced. Police sources said their mobile phones, one of which was a Singapore connection, remained switched off since the incident.

City Special Branch sources said the police have decided to clamp down on rampant violation of visa norms by preachers and evangelists. Quoting the visa regulation manuals, the sources said visas should not be issued to preachers and evangelists who desire to come to India on propaganda campaign whether on their own or at the invitation of any other organisation in India.

Preachers bypass this by coming on tourist visa and then address conventions. Even though the violations have been noticed and violators were often stopped from addressing meetings, this could be for the first time a case has been registered in connection with such an incident, a senior official with the City Special Branch said.

The Global Council of Indian Christians (GCIC) condemning the police action against Mr. Lee, stated that the moral policing, sectarian violence and the selective arrest of Christian evangelists demonstrated the failure of secular institutions in the country.

GCIC appeals to all secular forces to see the grand designs of the fascist force corroding the roots of democratic India, said Dr. Sajan George, President, GCIC in a release.

ALL WE REALLY NEED TO KNOW WE LEARNED FROM NOAH'S ARK

ALL WE REALLY NEED TO KNOW WE LEARNED FROM NOAH'S ARK

1. Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the ark.
2. Stay fit. When you're 600 years old, someone might ask you to do something REALLY big.
3. Don't listen to critics -- do what has to be done.
4. Build on high ground.
5. For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
6. Two heads are better than one.
7. Speed isn't always an advantage. The cheetahs were on board, but so were the snails.
8. If you can't fight or flee -- float!
9. Take care of your animals as if they were the last ones on earth.
10. Don't forget that we're all in the same boat.
11. When the doo-doo gets really deep, don't sit there and complain -- shovel!!!
12. Stay below deck during the storm.
13. Remember that the ark was built by amateurs and the Titanic was built by professionals.
14. If you have to start over, have a friend by your side.
15. Remember that the woodpeckers INSIDE are often a bigger threat than the storm outside.
16. Don't miss the boat.
17. No matter how bleak it looks, there's always a rainbow on the other side.
18. "Stop what you are doing, and do what God says!"
